Just because you want a smartwatch doesn’t mean you want an Apple Watch. If you are looking for something to keep you connected, but still want the look and feel of a traditional watch, analog smartwatches are the answer.
Analog Smartwatches That Fit With Your Style
Analog smartwatches come in a variety of styles, just like their non-smart counterparts. They are also much less conspicuous than a fitness tracker, with the same benefits. If you are looking for something you can easily take from the beach to a business meeting, or the gym to a gala, we’ve found a number of styles that will make people do a double-take when they hear it’s a smartwatch.
Classic & Timeless
The Fossil Q seriesof hybrid smartwatches offers a variety of styles with more of a classic watch design that many smartwatches don’t offer. The Q Grant is a much more traditional style, with roman numerals, while the Q Crewmaster and Q Nate have a sportier, though classic, look to them. One of the best parts of the Q series is that the watch bands are all interchangeable, and there are many colors and styles to choose from.
These Fossil Q analog smartwatches are all compatible with Android and iOS, and can be synced to your devices with the Q App. You can use your watch to take a picture, track your sleep or steps, and get alerts and more.
Hugo Boss Smart Classic
The Smart Classic is a stainless steel three-hand analog smartwatch with an embossed leather strap. The face is 44mm in diameter and features a display screen for alerts and reminders. It looks very much like what you would expect a classic timepiece to look like.
The Hugo Boss Smart Classic connects to iOS and Android devices through its companion app, engineered by HP. Smart features include a pedometer, sleep mode and a convenient filter option.

Simple and elegant best describes this minimalist smartwatch from Nevo. It features no numbers, just black markings on a white 40mm face, and slender hour and minute hands. The Nevo Watch is available in three tones of stainless steel – Blacksmith, Granite and Champagne – with three leather strap colors – Coffee, Blueberry and Truffle. You can also purchase a fabric sport strap in one of four colors if you’re planning to get active.
Nevo’s analog smartwatch connect to the iOS Health Kit and Android Google Fit apps via Bluetooth to track steps, running and sleep information. You can receive notifications of texts, calls, emails, alarms and goals. You can also upgrade to a solar powered model using Wysips technology.
Designed for Women
I do think it’s worth mentioning analog smartwatches that are designed especially for women. While most analog smartwatches are considered unisex, they are often too bulky for women’s wrists or tastes. These smartwatches were designed with women in mind, as women tend toward a smaller, more traditionally feminine design.

I know I mentioned the Fossil hybrid smartwatches above, but this series includes analog smartwatches that are more like a traditional women’s watch, like the rose gold, crystal-accented Q Gazer. While geared towards women, the face of Fossil’s hybrids are 40mm, which may seem pretty chunky when on. Fossil does have a great size guide that you can check out if you are wondering how their watches will look on your wrist, size-wise.
The analog face on this kate spade watch is 39.5mm, only a hair smaller than the Fossil Q hybrid. It has a much more minimal design but still has flair, with champagne glasses and crystals. The Metro Grand analog smartwatch comes with a leather strap, though you can purchase a metal bracelet strap for it as well.
If you are looking for a much smaller hybrid smartwatch, whatever the cost, this one’s for you. The face on this luxury watch is 34mm in diameter, about as small as it gets with analog smartwatches. The Notify Women is available in five designs, some include diamonds, all with a metal bracelet.
You can use this beauty to monitor your activity and sleep with the MMT–365 app, available for iOS and Android, along with a variety of your standard smartwatch functions. All of your data gets stored in the cloud for up to thirty days without syncing it to your phone.
