1) Centralize the Source
A wireless router or modem doesn’t mean you have unlimited distance to work with. Every router has its own specific limits. An easy way to boost Wi-Fi signal strength is to move the router to a central location or closer to your devices. Check the documentation on your router to determine how far your router’s signal reaches.
2) Upgrade Old Hardware
How old is your router? Older routers are usually single band (2.4 GHz), meaning they have more competition among other devices in your home. They also typically only support older, slower protocols, such as 802.11b/g/n. This means less bandwidth and slower speeds.

3) Block Interference
