Whether you have a Mac or a PC it can be a pain to transfer files between your computer and your phone. Luckily, we’ve found a little gadget that makes all the difference for easy file transfer, and it’s compatible with both iPhones and Android devices. Sound too good to be true? Pinch yourself, CHARG3 3-in-1 Multi-Connector flash drives are wonderfully real.
CHARG3 3-in-1 flash drives have three connectors, as the name implies: Lightning, Micro USB and USB 2.0. This makes them compatible with almost all devices. The flash drive can be used as external storage for your phone, as a backup solution for phone or computer, or you can use it for easy file transfer between devices. Heck, you can even use it for Microsoft ReadyBoost.
Easy File Transfer and More
If you want to use the CHARG3 3-in-1 for iPhone file transfer you need a free app from the App Store, i-easydrive. When you first plug the flash drive into an iPhone or iPad, you’ll be prompted to install the app. i-easydrive is compatible with all Lightning port devices with iOS 8.2 or later. This means you can even use it with an iPod Touch. There is no need for the app with Android devices.
After you’ve plugged the flash drive into an iPhone and installed the app, select which device you would like to manage files on – the iPhone or the drive. It’s so easy that all you have to do is select the file(s) and select the action (move, copy or delete). If you are moving or copying a file from the iPhone, select the file, select the action and then select ‘Paste to Here’ in the drive. Easy peasy.
This is one of the simplest ways to transfer photos and videos from an iPhone to the computer. Once the files are on the drive, plug the USB connector into the USB port on the computer, open the drive on the computer and you can drag and drop files, or cut or copy them to new folders on your computer.
Say you need to transfer files from an old phone to a new phone with a different OS, like Android to iPhone, or iPhone to Android. The CHARG3 3-in-1 Multi-Connector flash drive can do that too. The flash drive has a Micro USB connector hidden inside the USB connector, which works with most Android devices.
Not only can you use the CHARG3 3-in-1 for iPhone file transfer, you can password encrypt files that are on the drive. This is especially convenient if you are using the drive as a backup, but don’t want others to be able to access the files. And speaking of backup, i-easydrive allows you to create a quick backup of your phone contacts, and it’s just as quick to restore them from the drive to the iPhone.
Check out the CHARG3 3-in-1 Multi-Connector flash drives on Amazon.com, we’re obviously big fans. They are available in four sizes: 16G, 32G, 64G and a whopping 128G. We hope you find these as useful as we did.
