This is the only thing that worked for me too, THANKS!
iphone xr isnt responding, i did all the steps 🙁
If this doesn’t work for you try removing your phone case and try the steps again –
Push up volume button hard and release quickly
Push down volume button hard and release quickly
Hold side button down for 15-30 seconds
Apple logo should popup and restart your phone. I tried these steps with my phone case on and it wasn’t working because the case does not allow the buttons to be pushed hard enough. Once I removed the phone case and followed the steps it worked! I have an iPhone XR for reference.
Worked for me only after I removed the phone case, amazing, thanks!!
I have a XR and it keeps shutting off on a black screen and a loading symbol it takes seconds sometimes minutes sometimes and even hours! it is really annoying !
I have an iPhone X and my device rebooted on it’s own about 3 hours ago and stuck on the spinning wheel . Doing the volume up volume down and power button has no effect. If I connect the device to a PC then my iTunes tells me to unlock my phone first with my passcode but it will not get to the screen or even to the point it shows the apple logo. I am in a rural area and this is my only line out and Verizon support does not seem to know what to advise. Any help at this time from anyone would be appreciated.
