Digital Care Solutions, the makers of Digital Care (the “Software”), are dedicated to maintaining the confidentiality of your personal information, and ensuring that it remains secure and protected at all times. This document explains our Privacy Policy, and how the information you submit to Digital Care Solutions (“Digital Care Solutions”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) will be used.

How we collect information

We collect information from you, which may include name, mailing address, email address, and phone number when you purchase or register the Software or when you download a free trial/evaluation version of the Software. The information that you provide to us is used to verify transactions during use of the Software or the Digital Care website. Payment processing merchants utilized by Digital Care Solutions use the same careful privacy criteria as us. We do not intentionally target minors. The Digital Care website, is not specifically intended for users under the age of 13, and Digital Care Solutions does not intentionally gather information on users under the age of13.

Digital Care Solutions is not responsible for any information posted by Software users on public message boards, blogs, forums, or any other communication channels. We do not supervise the potential use of these communication channels, or the use of any published information posted on these communication channels by third-parties. Digital Care Solutions cannot and will not make any claims of privacy or confidentiality for any information that is posted by Software users on these communication channels.

What do we use your information for?

Any of the information we collect from you may be used in one of the following ways:

Digital Care Solutions may release personal information at times when it is necessary to enforce our End User Licensing Agreement, Terms of Use, or other agreements (i.e. to protect our intellectual property rights). These agreements can be found on the Digital Care Solutions website and the End User Licensing Agreement can also be found within the Software. We may also release or utilize your personal information when required by law, or when Digital Care Solutions ascertains that relevant statutes, regulations, and laws would require the release of such information.

How do we protect your information?

Digital Care Solutions implements a variety of security measures to maintain the safety and protection of any personal information you submit to Digital Care Solutions. We offer the use of a secure server, advanced authentication measures and advanced encryption techniques for all of the data transmitted using the Software. All personal information submitted by you to Digital Care Solutions is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and encrypted. Any payment information submitted by you to Digital Care Solutions is encrypted into our payment gateway provider’s database only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems. The payment gateway providers are required to keep this information confidential.
